He wrote plays. Everyone’s heard of Shakespeare.

He lived in London and Stratford, England. He lived from 1564 to 1616.

That explains ……….I’ve never heard of him. He died years ago!

Andrea

He owned a very famous theatre in London, ……… was rebuilt in 1997.

The Globe. That’s ……… Shakespeare’s plays are performed.

Maybe I’ve heard of some of these plays. ……….are some famous ones?

One of his most famous plays is Romeo and Juliet,……….has been made into a film.

I’ve heard of that one! ………. many plays did he write?

Thirty-seven. Hamlet, ……….is another famous play, contains the line “To be or not to be; that is the question.”
